The MCC Summer Rock Camp provides students with an intense one-week musical experience studying and performing rock and pop music. Participants have the Masterclass Topics uniquely related to individual instruments in group lesson format: how to practice, transcribing solos, fundamentals/skills etc.
AN ENTIRE WEEK OF CAMP ONLY$145
All participants will be placed in a band & will perform at the Friday evening concert. Emphasis is on performance and musicality.
Guided listening and watching of essential recordings and famous concert footage shared between students & faculty.
Special topics will include booking, self-promotion, merchandizing, law, recording, live sound, and performance forums.
Continuation of band rehearsals.

The workshop is designed for middle school, high school and college students who are serious about improving their skills and knowledge of rock, as well as those who want to enjoy a wonderful musical experience. This camp is open to drummers, bassists, guitarists, keyboardists and vocalists!
