Biography

Scott Hanson is a professional musician, educator and entrepreneur. He currently serves as Executive Director for the International Tuba Euphonium Association, and is an active private teacher in the Phoenix area. For the past 20 years he has combined his musicianship and business skills. As a professional musician, Scott toured the United States for ten years as euphonium soloist with the Jack Daniels Silver Cornet Band. He continues to follow his passion for music and education, helping young players improve their musical skills. Scott has taught music classes and private lessons at Mesa Community College, Gilbert Chandler Community College, Central Michigan University, Kalamazoo College, and Arizona State University. He holds a Bachelor of Music Education degree from Louisiana State University and a Master of Music in Euphonium Performance from Arizona State University.
