The Piano Man Meets Captain Squeegee: Concerts in Support of the New
Performing Arts Center for MCC at Mesa Arts Center 

Mesa, AZ
– February 26, 2013 –Mesa Community College’s Instrumental Music
Department, TAD Management, and Captain Squeegee, are holding concerts at the
Mesa Arts Center to support the New Performing Arts Center (PAC), currently
under construction at MCC.

 

An evening of incredible music begins with one of two shows
at 6 pm. The first show, The Piano Man,
Celebrating the Music of Billy Joel and Elton John,
will include friends of
the MCC Orchestra and Winds. There will also be a VIP reception between shows
on the third floor of the Mesa Arts Center for VIP ticket buyers.

The second show begins at 9:30 pm and features one of Arizona’s
favorites, Captain Squeegee, with
members of the MCC concert and jazz bands. Captain
Squeegee
and The Piano Man will
be performing with a multimedia art & light display.  Shows are ticketed separately and
tickets for both shows are available at
http://mccpac.eventbrite.com/.

The shows will feature some of the area’s most prominent
professional musicians and leaders, under the direction of TAD Management’s
Terry Davies and Captain Squeegee’s leader Danny Torgeresen. Guests can enjoy
wonderful performances as well as updates on the New MCC PAC and more.

The event takes place at the Mesa Arts Center, One East Main
Street in Mesa on Saturday, March 23. The first concert begins at 6 pm and the
reception follows for VIP’s.  The
second concert begins at 9:30 p.m. Tickets for the Piano Man Concert are $25 and
tickets for the Captain Squeegee Concert are $15. Ticket Prices are $5 higher
when purchased at the door. A limited number of $100 VIP Seats will be
available and include admission to both shows, a VIP reception with hors
d’oeuvres, meet and greet with the artists and a signed copy of their CDs.
