The Cactus Bowl and Cheerleaders of America would like to invite you to participate in the First Pregame Band/Guard/Spirit Extravaganza on Friday, January 2, 2015 for the ESPN TELEVISED CACTUS BOWL GAME.

This is not only a phenomenal opportunity to participate in a sporting event of higher education, perform in ASU’S Sun Devil stadium, but also to showcase the talent of your schools band, guard, and spirit members in front of 45,000 plus Collegiate Football Fans!

Dear Band/Color Guard Directors:

The Cactus Bowl and Cheerleaders of America would like to invite you to participate in the First Pregame Spirit Extravaganza on Friday, January 2, 2015 for the ESPN TELEVISED CACTUS BOWL GAME. Cheerleaders of America (www.cheeramerica.org) will host this event for the Cactus Bowl to provide a fun, memorable experience, and for bands and color guards in Arizona, California, Nevada, and New Mexico to have the opportunity to perform in ASU’s Sun Devil stadium in front of approximately 45, 000 collegiate football fans. Plan to join your fellow student athletes for an exciting BOWL GAME Pregame.

Following is the procedure:

  1. Please fill out the registration form and mail to the address provided on the form.
  2. Once your school’s entry is received, you will receive a confirmation letter.
  3. The music and guard routine will be available online.
  4. Band members and guard must learn the music/routine and be able to perform it when they arrive for the mass rehearsal, which will be on Friday, January 2, 2015. Exact time and place TBA.
  5. At least one adult director/coach or chaperone must be with the band/guard at the rehearsal and at the game. The band/guard will not be allowed to participate in the rehearsal or pregame show if they are not accompanied by a director/coach or chaperone.
  6. All participants will wear their school uniforms.
