Fox 10’s Cory McClosky is planning on joining us for “LIVE on the air” coverage on June 7! We’ll ask campers to show up early on Tuesday, June 7th (8 am) in order to be featured on the news!

Another option for support, is to make a one-time donation to the college specifically for the music department, designating funds to be used to keep our summer band camp tuition free to the children. This option is to be used for individuals that would like to help the program but do not want the recognition in the program. CAMP REGISTRATION IS FULL TO BE ADDED TO THE WAITING LIST

2. Complete the information in the Band Camp 2016 Registration Packet
4. Map and drop off instructions
For drop off, please enter camp off of Dobson Road or Southern. Please do not drop off from Longmore (no entrance this way). Those driving your own car will then park across the street from the PAC.
If you’ve completed all your paperwork and filled out the pre-registration form prior to 3/23/16 or were part of last year’s camp, you are assured a spot. You will know you’re in by the informational camp emails we send you in early May. Those filling out the paperwork post 3/23/16 please know that spots WILL open so be sure to fill out ALL your paperwork (including the pre-registration form below) and standby! We will notice you in early May.

UPDATES AS OF 3/23/16
OUR CAMP IS NEARLY FULL WITH OVER 400 ON THE PRE-REGISTRATION LIST.
THOSE FILLING OUT THE PRE-REGISTRATION FORM BELOW AS OF 3/23/16 MAY BE PLACED ON OUR WAITING LIST PENDING ON INSTRUMENTATION AND LEVEL IN SCHOOL.
PLEASE BE PATIENT AS WE HOPE TO HAVE AN EMAIL OUT TO ALL ACCEPTED CANDIDATES IN THE NEXT 2 WEEKS WITH DETAILED INSTRUCTIONS ON THE NEXT STEPS.
Band Camp for JR. & SENIOR HIGH concert, percussion, jazz and rhythm section players. Campers must have attended grades 6-12 in the ’15-’16 school year.
Tuition FREE, students will need to provide their own lunch. The MCC Summer Music Camp is Tuition FREE through the kind donations of MCC Performing Arts Center supporters, the college, and our amazing faculty and staff.
All ability levels; campers should have at least one year of school instruction or equivalent.
Music teacher recommendation is required and a recorded audition.
Tuesday, May 31 – Friday, June 10, 2016. Concerts are required and normally take place in the evenings on Thursday, June 9 and Friday, June 10.
